Interested in becoming an automotive BDC or BDM? The Automotive Sales & Service BDC Essentials Course explains everything you need to know to start your automotive industry career quickly. Better Jobs Ontario Program

Ontario’s new Better Jobs Ontario program may help you retrain for a new in-demand career.

How does it work?

Better Jobs Ontario provides eligible applicants with skills training for in-demand jobs and financial support. You can apply for up to $28,000 for costs, including:

  • Tuition
  • Books
  • Institutional costs
  • Transportation
  • Basic living allowance

The amount of support you receive is based on individual needs and available funding.

Better Jobs Ontario Eligibility

You qualify for Better Jobs Ontario if you either:

  • Have been laid-off and have not been working or are working a temporary job just to cover costs
  • Have not been laid-off but have been unemployed for six months or longer and are part of a low-income household

You can still apply if you receive either:

  • Employment Insurance (EI)
  • Ontario Works (OW)
  • Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
