Service Manager ~ Listowel, Ontario

Our client in Listowel is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Manager with a proven track record to join their family.

Listowel offers a picturesque rural setting but has all the amenities of a small city. Many families are moving from larger cities, such as Kitchener and Waterloo, to live in Listowel as the housing prices are more economical for families, and there are vast employment opportunities, especially in the agriculture, manufacturing, health-care and finance sectors.

Job Duties:

  • Ability to effectively manage all areas of Service Department.
  • Ability to forecast goals and objectives for service, gross and key expenses on a monthly & annual basis
  • Possess strong management ability and strong customer service skills.
  • Understands and keeps abreast of manufacturer warranty regulations and claims.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Must be able to coach and work with staff members.
  • Ensure high standards are held for quality of work.
  • Ensure Technicians and Service Advisers understand and follow dealership policies at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers & employees.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment with many priorities.
  • Prior experience as Service Manager required.
  • Must be team oriented, flexible, focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Strong communication skills.
